Farm Update

We are no longer managing our growing site at Curia on the Drag. Thank you to all the volunteers, participants and visitors who made the past seven years a joy to grow. Please keep in touch with our social media for any future classes or events!

Let's eat

It typically takes 8-15 exposures for kids to accept a new food, which adds up fast! This much wasted food can be costly for families, so many kids don't get enough exposure to veggies to develop a taste for them.

On the farm, we give kids chances to try new veggies over and over again, increasing their willingness to try new veggies.

Let's cook

Meals cooked at home have larger servings of fruits and veggies than meals eaten out — even cooking at home as little as twice a week will improve diet quality.

Let's grow

Kids who have gardening experience eat more veggies and have a better understanding of nutrition than kids without gardening experience.

Gardening is a sustainable way for bold eaters and their families to get more plants into their diet.
